Participation to the MIDEN Festival, 3-5 July 2014, Kalamata, Greece, in the context of a tribute to Manthos Santrineos, with selected students' projects. The Επιλογή in Crisis project was exhibited.

Conferences - Demos


EuroVR 2016 Conference

Participation to the EuroVR 2016 Conference (22-24 November 2016, Athens), with three contributions which have resulted from the collaboration between students and teachers.


  • A paper presentation with title: Developing multimodal virtual experiences based on low-cost games mechanisms, under the perspective of artistic creation, by Dr. Stavroula Zoi.
    Τhis is a study focusing on how the recent appearance of low-cost gaming mechanisms has affected artistic creation in this field. The Rowing Courses project of Nikos Papadopoulos has been used as a case study.

  • A demo with title Acrophobia: an Artistic Virtual Reality Experience. This is an artwork in progress about this condition, experienced in a virtual reality environment. It has been developed by Vetsiou Konstantina as a Master Thesis, under the supervision of Prof. Manthos Santorineos (Athens School of Fine Arts) and Prof. Alain Lioret (Paris-8 University).

  •  A demo with title Body, bacteria, life cycle. This is a research in progress which presents the inside of the human body and its organs as a game space not only while the body is alive, but also when it dies and the bacteria change its structure. It is developed by Christina Oikonomou, under the supervision of Prof. Manthos Santorineos, Dr. Stavroula Zoi (Athens School of Fine Arts), and Prof. Alain Lioret (Paris-8 University).

e-Life

Participation to the 5th International e-Life conference, 23-26 June 2016, Plastira Lake, Greece. Our Master participated with the organization of a session of talks and an exhibition of projects, demonstrating creative uses of digital technologies towards a better life, against addiction.
