The Greek-French Master “Art, Virtual Reality & Multi-User systems of Artistic Expression“ is a joint postgraduate program between the Department of Fine Arts of the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), and the Department of Art and Technology of the Image, of the UFR Arts, philosophie, esthétique”, of the Paris 8 University. 

The main objective of this Master is to provide contemporary artistic, technological and theoretical knowledge needed to create artworks that belong to the new forms of digital art.

In this context, students are trained throughout the whole cycle of creation: from the idea to the desing, the selection of media, and the final production the artwork. Through the curriculum, they acquire knowledge on digital arts, as well as on contemporary tools of artistic expression, such as virtual reality technology, digital games, multiuser virtual spaces, applications on smart devices, technologies for the production of real-time content and digital sound.
The 2- year studies of this Master are split between the two Institutions: one year in Athens and one year in Paris.
